Based in Leeds, we’re a mission-driven investor with the capital, expertise and ambition to unlock the UK’s future.
We are investing £27.8 billion, alongside partners, in infrastructure, places, businesses and technologies that drive economic growth and the transition to clean energy. Our mission is to drive more than £100 billion of finance into the UK economy.
We also provide bespoke support to local government to accelerate regionally significant projects.
We’re wholly owned by HM Treasury but independent in our investment decisions.
Our team of investment professionals make decisions which balance financial return, economic impact and the need to crowd in significant private investment over time – with a target to mobilise £3 for every £1 we invest over the long-term. Projects must meet our investment principles and be based in the UK.
